2.5" diameter flower was created from paper in my scrap stash, using a paper filigree technique called fringing.
Bazzill Admiral (blue), black orchid and Smokey card used for mount, accented with narrow white ribbon and sentiment in blue ink (using a pad and stamp supplied by local paper store/studio called Paper Pals in Pullman, Washington. I'm afraid I don't know who made either one!)
I was talking with a friend, and we both are inclined to think that the large flower is a bit too 'cheery' for a sympathy card. I'd love to hear what some other card makers think. Is this a more appropriate style for a birthday or thank you card?
